The ITI Diploma in Mechanic (Mechanical) is a vocational training program designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to work in the mechanical engineering field. This course offers extensive hands-on training in mechanical systems, tools, and equipment used across various industries such as manufacturing, automotive, construction, and aerospace.
The program covers core mechanical engineering concepts like mechanical drawings, machining, maintenance of machines, workshop practices, and materials science. Over the course of four semesters, students are trained in mechanical components, systems assembly and disassembly, welding, and troubleshooting techniques. The curriculum is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the mechanical field.
