The CNC & VMC Programming Course is a skill-based technical training program designed to provide students with hands-on knowledge of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machine operations and programming.
This course focuses on developing the ability to read and write G-codes & M-codes, set up jobs, operate CNC/VMC machines, and understand precision machining techniques used in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and tool-making industries. It includes both theoretical concepts and intensive practical training on modern CNC/VMC machines.
The course is ideal for students and working professionals aspiring to build a career in advanced manufacturing technology or upgrade their skills for better employment opportunities.
To introduce the fundamentals of CNC & VMC machines
To train students in G-code and M-code programming
To develop the skill of tool selection, machine setup, and operations
To ensure safety standards and quality control in machining processes
To prepare students for roles in machine shops, industries, and CNC programming departments
3 to 6 Months (Flexible based on training schedule)
Can be full-time or part-time
Includes both classroom instruction and workshop practice
Minimum: 10th Pass (Science/Maths preferred)
ITI / Diploma / Engineering students or working professionals in mechanical field
Age: 16 years and above
