The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course is a 6-month skill-based training program designed to prepare individuals for emergency pre-hospital care. EMTs are frontline healthcare professionals trained to respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies, trauma incidents, accidents, and disaster situations.
This course covers both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical skills required for providing Basic Life Support (BLS), trauma response, patient assessment, airway management, and ambulance operation. Students are trained through classroom sessions, lab simulations, and supervised clinical internships in hospitals and ambulances.
To equip students with the skills to manage medical and trauma emergencies.
To develop competence in vital signs monitoring, CPR, wound care, and patient handling.
To ensure proficiency in emergency equipment usage and communication during crises.
To provide clinical exposure through field training under professional supervision.
After successful completion, candidates can work as:
Ambulance EMTs
Emergency Room Assistants
Disaster Response Team Members
Paramedical Support Staff in hospitals, rescue teams, and healthcare NGOs.
Duration: 6 Months (Approx. 800–900 Hours)
Mode: Classroom Training + Practical Lab + Clinical Internship
