The Advanced Certificate in Cardiac Care Technician (ACCCT) is a 12-month comprehensive program crafted for students aspiring to support cardiologists in clinical environments. Across two semesters, learners build both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise required to assist in diagnosis, treatment, and emergency cardiac care.
The curriculum includes in-depth understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, ECG and arrhythmia interpretation, cardiac pharmacology, monitoring techniques, critical care support, and operating cardiac machines. Students will also be trained to assist during cardiac surgeries and emergencies like cardiac arrest, perform stress tests, manage infection control, and handle real-time patient care tasks.
