The Advanced Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced (AEMT) is a 6-month intensive program designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to provide advanced emergency medical care. Building upon basic EMT training, this course delves into advanced topics such as airway management, intravenous therapy, pharmacology, cardiac emergencies, and patient assessment. Students will engage in both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experiences, preparing them to respond effectively to a wide range of emergency situations. Upon successful completion, graduates will be prepared to function as Advanced EMTs, serving as a critical link between the scene of an emergency and the healthcare system.
