The Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) is a 3-month intensive program designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to provide basic emergency medical care. This course covers fundamental topics such as patient assessment, basic life support (BLS), trauma care, and emergency response protocols. Students will engage in both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experiences, preparing them to respond effectively to a wide range of emergency situations. Upon successful completion, graduates will be prepared to function as Emergency Medical Technicians, serving as a critical link between the scene of an emergency and the healthcare system.
